Prayer for Father Salvatore Rodino
O Jesus, our great High Priest,
Hear my humble prayers on behalf of our priest, Father Rodino.
Give him a deep faith
a bright and firm hope
and a burning love
which will ever increase
in the course of his priestly life.
In his loneliness, comfort him
In his sorrows, strengthen him
In his frustrations, point out to him
that it is through suffering that the soul is purified,
and show him that he is needed by his Church, and his parish family at St. Jude the Apostle Church,
he is needed by souls,
he is needed for the work of redemption.
O loving Mother Mary, Mother of Priests,
Take to your heart your son who is close to you
because of his priestly ordination,
and because of the power which he has received
to carry on the work of Christ
in a world which needs him so much.
Be his comfort, be his joy, be his strength,
and especially help him
to live and to defend the ideals of consecrated celibacy. Amen.

Praying the Novena for Father Salvatore Rodino and the Rodino Family
Please pray a novena for our beloved priest and spiritual leader, Father Salvatore Rodino.
A novena is a series of prayers for a special intention which is said for nine consecutive days. The word novena is derived from the Latin word “novem” which means nine. Novenas are most powerful during times of despair and hardship.
The following novena is a devotion consisting of prayers for Father Rodino and the Rodino family. We must ask God, our Blessed Mother, all our Saints, and especially Saint Jude to comfort him, strengthen him and to come to his defense to unveil the truth so that he may return to his parish family and continue his great ministry at the St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Community.
Novena To St. Jude for Father Salvatore Rodino and the Rodino Family
Most holy Apostle, St. Jude, faithful servant and friend of Jesus, the Church honors and invokes you universally, as the patron of difficult cases, of things almost despaired of, Pray for me, I am so helpless and alone.
Intercede with God for me that He bring visible and speedy help where help is almost despaired of. Come to my assistance in this great need that I may receive the consolation and help of heaven in all my necessities, tribulations, and sufferings, particularly for Father Salvatore Rodino and the Rodino family.
St. Jude please comfort him, strengthen him and come to his defense and unveil the truth so that he may return to his parish family and continue his great ministry at the St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Community and that I may praise God with you and all the saints forever. I promise, O Blessed St. Jude, to be ever mindful of this great favor granted me by God and to always honor you as my special and powerful patron, and to gratefully encourage devotion to you. Amen

Novena Prayer for Father Salvatore Rodino
O Mary, Mother of Jesus, you were with Jesus at the beginning of His life and mission.
You stood beside Jesus when He was lifted on the cross and gave His life for all.
We ask you now to be with our Priest, Father Salvatore Rodino, who has given himself to service of God’s people.
Intercede for him that he may continue to grow in holiness and joy, and proclaim God’s word with courage.
Return him to us at St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Community to continue to celebrate the sacraments and be among God’s people as Jesus, the Good Shepard was.
We offer this prayer to God the Father, through your intercession, in the name of your son, Jesus and through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Devotional Prayer
Dear Jesus,
You see the deep devotion we have for our dear friend and priest, Fr. Rodino and we ask that you guide us in our every step to respectfully help and support this incredible man.
We all promise to be patient, take our time and to only move forward after we hear your voice in our hearts.
We know YOU are SOULY in charge of all we do.
We ask that you take over our meetings, our gatherings and our efforts to be sure that any action we take is not only in honor of our friend, Fr. Rodino but in honor of you.
You know our hearts and the deep faith we have in you and we pray for your assistance to help us make the best decisions at this time on behalf of Father Rodino.
